34-year-old Brittany Cecilia Biggerstaff had gotten kicked out of Nashville Underground for being “too drunk” at 10:30 p.m. on June 22nd. Security for the establishment flagged officers down and advised them they did not want her to return to the location. They wanted officers to speak with her and possibly arrange a ride home. Once officers escorted Biggerstaff away from the bar, they reported that they noticed that she reeked of alcohol and showed signs of intoxication. While arranging a ride with her husband, who was supposedly picking her up from 1st Avenue South and Broadway, they instructed her to wait there as they spoke with Nashville Underground employees.

During the security and officers’ conversation, Biggerstaff followed them to the bar. She told officers that she did not like how they were speaking with security about her. After walking her back to the corner, she became irate and dropped her phone on the ground. Biggerstaff then looked at the officers and said, “Pick it up!” She was then detained for the occurrence. Officers further discovered that Biggerstaff was on probation for a DUI from 2010, with several DUI offenses in the past. While in the patrol car, she told officers that she was a hairdresser who does all of Nashville’s hair and that she would urinate herself if they did not let her go. Brittany Biggerstaff was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
