28-year-old Phillip Junkin was involved in a fight in the Red Roof Inn parking lot on Sidco Drive late May 15th. When officers arrived, they located the other party, face down on the ground, covered in blood, near Junkin. Junkin had no shirt on and was concealing a Glock in his waistband. Officers detained Junkin, during which they noticed he reeked of alcohol and was showing signs of impairment. Multiple witnesses told officers that Junkin knocked the other male unconscious and began wandering the parking lot, stumbling around. Junkin was deemed a danger to himself and was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and possession of a handgun while under the influence.
