Matthew Moore jailed after attacking man near Savannah’s Candy Kitchen on Broadway

42-year-old Matthew Scott Moore had an altercation with Ronald Sanders near Savannah’s Candy Kitchen on Broadway in the afternoon hours of May 21st. Officers nearby observed the fight and approached the area, where they spoke with witnesses, and reviewed footage of the incident. Officers determined that Moore had attacked Sanders, who was bleeding from his arm and had abrasions on his face. One of the witnesses advised them that Moore had been “acting disorderly” and “causing issues all day.” While detaining Moore, he reeked of alcohol and was “obviously under the influence of alcohol.” Moore was taken into custody for assault, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.

Matthew Scott Moore of Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 21st, charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $3,600, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
