39-year-old Austin Graham was observed showing signs of impairment near 4th Avenue South and Broadway Avenue in the early hours of May 22nd. Officers were flagged down regarding this, and when they located him, they noticed he had a strong alcoholic odor. Officers also noticed Graham had slurred speech and struggled to stand upright as they spoke to him. Graham told police that he knew where he was staying. Officers then asked Graham to pull out his phone to order an Uber. Graham instead pulled out his wallet and handed it to officers, believing it was his phone. Graham was deemed a danger to himself and was taken into custody for public intoxication.
Austin Graham was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 22nd, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
