20-year-old Leyanis Rodriguez-Hernandez was observed stealing merchandise from the Target on Gallatin Pike on June 17th. Hernandez was seen entering the store and leaving with $160 worth of merchandise. On June 21st, Target’s loss prevention agents watched her try to shoplift again and detained her until officers arrived. When they arrived, the loss prevention staff presented them with multiple reports and video footage of Hernandez taking $1,251.82 worth of items. Leyanis Rodriguez-Hernandez was then taken into custody for two counts of theft.
Leyanis Rodriguez Hernandez of Spring Branch Dr in Madison, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 21st, charged with two counts of theft. She is free on a $6,000 bond.
