23-year-old June Watson was seen vandalizing a Circle K on Murfreesboro Pike on July 15th. Officers were dispatched to Circle K for a woman who was allegedly throwing rocks at cars. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with an employee of Circle K, who stated that Watson had been sitting at fuel pump six, throwing rocks at vehicles. The employee then informed officers that Watson also hit the gasoline pump screen, shattering it. Officers then spoke with another witness, the manager of Circle K, who told officers that she wanted to prosecute for the damages done. She stated that it would cost $1,200 to fix the screen. While the witnesses described Watson to officers, they observed Watson walking across the street. Officers then contacted Watson at a nearby Walgreens across the street, where they identified and detained her. Officers took her back to Circle K, where she was confirmed to be the woman throwing rocks. Watson was taken into custody for vandalism on July 16th.
