19-year-old Adam Stinson had had a domestic disturbance with his brother, Logan Stinson, at their Highmeadows Court residence on August 1st. Adam told responding officers that he and Logan had disagreements over several months. Then, Adam said that Logan had ordered a new couch for their residence, but Logan was supposed to pay him for a trip that had not happened. Adam explained that he got angry when the sofa was delivered and poured Gatorade onto it.

Then, Adam told officers he went to his room because he did not want to physically fight with Logan. After this, Adam stated that he overheard Logan and their mother talking about him outside, which made him angry. Adam then grabbed a knife from his room, went outside, and hit Logan’s vehicle with it multiple times. This left large gouges in the car’s hood, causing nearly $1,400 in damages. Adam Stinson was taken into custody for vandalism.
