29-year-old Trevor Willis caused a disturbance at Chick-fil-A on Highway 70 South late July 13th. Officers were dispatched to the establishment following a robbery alarm. Officers were advised that an individual, later identified as Willis, was being disorderly and had a gun. Employees described him as a skinny black male in a silver vehicle with dark clothing. Then, responding officers located Willis and detained him for the occurrence. After this, the police spoke with Deion Bentley King, a Chick-fil-A employee, who stated that Willis pulled up to the drive-thru window to place an order.

Willis was told his order could not be completed because they were closed, which upset him. Then, King explained that Willis started arguing, telling him, “Don’t make me come in there.” King said that Willis exited his vehicle, pulled his pants up, reached down his left pocket, and pulled out a gun that he immediately dropped, saying, “You got lucky,” before retrieving it. Then, King told Willis they would bring him his order. Despite this, Willis continued circling the business and pulling on the doors after employees locked them. Officers reviewed video footage from the location, corroborating King’s statements, and cited Willis for the incident. Willis was later booked on the citation of disorderly conduct on July 29th.
