73-year-old David Carter threatened a U.S. Bank representative over the phone on November 16th, 2023. The police report stated that the representative called Carter and confirmed his identity. Then, after Carter realized they were calling on behalf of the bank, he told them to stop calling or “I will try bombing that stupid bank.”

The conversation was recorded and reviewed. Officers determined that Carter’s statement placed the workers at the location in fear of contacting him regarding his account. A warrant was issued for his arrest on December 28th, 2023. Carter was later taken into custody for false reports on August 8th, 2024.
