33-year-old Daquan Hill was seen smashing someone’s car window at his apartment complex on Murfreesboro Pike on August 16th. When officers arrived, the victim informed them about the incident. Officers then made contact with Hill, who immediately admitted to breaking the window. Once officers informed him of his Miranda Rights, he reiterated that he busted the window with his hands out of anger.
Hill stated he did this in relation to another incident where Hill contacted officers saying that the victim stole his backpack. After that, Hill decided to “Take care of the issue himself,” leading to him breaking the window. During officers’ interaction with Hill, he also confessed that he was under the influence of marijuana and alcohol. Hill was then taken into custody and charged with vandalism.
Daquan L. Hill of Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 16th, charged with vandalism. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
