Ayesha Battle hits security guard in head with glass bottle at Whiskey Row

34-year-old Ayesha Battle was caught after hitting Leah Garcia, a security guard, with a glass bottle at Whiskey Row on Broadway on August 21st. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Garcia, who stated that Battle had struck her in the forehead with a glass bottle. Garcia then showed officers camera footage of the incident.

Officers observed Battle swing the glass bottle at Garcia and then swing it once more, where she was struck. The bottle caused injuries to Garcia’s forehead, which officers observed. Officers then spoke with Battle, and during questioning, she admitted that she swung the bottle at Garcia. Battle was then deemed the primary aggressor and taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on August 22nd.

Ayesha Lavonne Battle of South 3rd Street in Millville, NJ, was booked in Metro Nashville Jail on August 22nd, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is free on a $15,000 bond.
