30-year-old Desaray Boyd was caught shoplifting at the Walmart on Nolensville Pike on September 4th. The loss prevention officer associated with Walmart told officers that they stopped Boyd and detained her in their office. They added they did this after observing Boyd conceal merchandise in her purse.
Following this, officers discovered that Boyd had already been trespassed from another Walmart. Additionally, officers were provided with a surveillance video capturing Boyd tucking peanut butter into her purse. Boyd was then taken into custody and charged with burglary and theft.
Desaray I. Boyd of Chapel Ave in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 4th, charged with burglary and theft. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
