Illinois tourist Ryan Villanueva assaults police & bouncers at Kid Rock’s bar in Nashville

26-year-old Illinois Tourist Ryan Villanueva began to knock things from the bar and stage at Kid Rock’s bar late Friday evening. Security told him to stop, which only caused Villanueva to get aggressive with them. He grabbed the arm of one of the security staff, William Tomlinson, and ripped open the top of his shirt. Tomlinson then escorted him to the ground, at which time Villanueva kneed him in the side of the head. He was detained for Metro Nashville Police, and when they attempted to take him into their custody were also met with resistance. While being searched, he kicked backward and hit Officer Chetan Babbar’s knee.

Aidan Chenoweth now charged in death of Sofia Balk after last summer crash

23-year-old Aidan Chenoweth was jailed this week as a result of a crash from June 2023 that took the life of Sofia Balk, a teenager from Missouri. The new warrants, which were issued earlier this month, charges Chenoweth with reckless homicide and two counts of reckless endangerment for injuries sustained to Dyln Jones and Cody Shelton. Police say both cars were traveling on I-24 when the Honda Accord, driven by Chenoweth, lost control and collided with the Ford Fusion, driven by Balk, before both crashed into a rock wall. All involved parties were transported to Vanderbilt. A witness stated Chenoweth passed him and multiple other vehicles while changing lanes at a high rate of speed. Police say data from the vehicle shows it was traveling at 95 mph seconds before the crash and was not in control of the vehicle. The two passengers in the Ford Fusion sustained major injuries to their bodies, and Chenoweth was pronounced dead at the hospital. He is free on a $55,000 bond.

Charles Owens charged with multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor

21-year-old Charles Owens was taken into custody for three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor on January 25th. Officers received a NCMEC CyberTip on March 5th, 2023, stating that the user named “BiTribs69” sent an image containing child sexual abuse material, CSAM, to another user, which showed a nude pubescent minor female in various states of being exposed. A subsequent investigation found Owens to be the likely owner of the account. On January 4th, officers conducted a scheduled interview with him at his residence in Davidson County. Owens admitted that the account was his and that he possessed CSAM images. He consented to a search through his iPhone, where they located more CSAM images. He advised them that similar material may be on his iPad, which he allowed them to seize. On January 5th, a search of the devices yielded more than 100 CSAM images on each device. Charles Owens was taken into custody and charged with 3 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $150,000.

Preston Milburn assaults girlfriend, traps her in residence during altercation

26-year-old Preston Milburn had an altercation with his girlfriend, Peyton Manning, at their residence on January 24th. Manning reported waking up because Milburn yelled at her, screaming, “I hate you.” Milburn threw hangers at her as he was leaving. Manning then started to record the incident with her phone, and Milburn grabbed it, shattered it, and threw it into the woods in their backyard. Manning tried to leave, but Milburn forced her back into her bedroom, hindering her from leaving. Milburn then placed his hand over her mouth to keep her from screaming. About twenty minutes later, Manning was able to get away to a neighbor’s house so she could call the police. When officers arrived, Milburn fled the scene, so officers spoke with Manning and noticed her left hand was bleeding with a couple of broken fingernails. Milburn called the police to meet up but did not give any statements regarding the incident. Officers deemed Milburn the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Genca Santana drunkenly attempts to assault ex-boyfriend with knife

27-year-old Genca Santana approached her ex-boyfriend, Joseph Ramos, with a knife late January 23rd. Ramos pulled beside Officer Hillis and advised him that Santana had been threatening him all day. When Joseph saw her walking down the road towards his house, he told her to leave him alone. This is when Santana pulled out a knife and started to approach Ramos’ vehicle with it raised. Officer Hillis located Santana and observed her to be visibly intoxicated. Santana admitted to having a knife, that she had been drinking, and told officers that she was going to Ramos’ house to see their kid. Ramos provided several text messages of her threats and photos of her holding the knife up to the screen. Santana was taken into custody for aggravated assault and public intoxication on January 24th.

Ryan Gales caught with crack cocaine after police investigate suspicious van

26-year-old Ryan Gales was found living in a silver van at a parking lot on Division Street on January 23rd. The caller stated that the suspicious van had a removed rear driver’s side wheel and had been parked there for several days. Officers arrived, observed Gales with a passenger, and had them exit the vehicle. Both occupants consented to a search where officers located crack cocaine. Gales advised that he had drug paraphernalia in his vehicle, and officers located a green submarine pipe used to smoke marijuana, a glass pipe to smoke narcotics, and used/unused needles. Gales had an outstanding warrant in Illinois for failing to appear in court for drug possession, but Illinois did not wish to extradite him. Gales was taken into custody for the unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Eslam Milud throws dishes at wife during argument over taking out trash

28-year-old Eslam Milud had a domestic dispute with his wife, April Milud, at their residence on Forest Ridge Drive on January 23rd. April spoke with officers as they arrived, advising them that she and Eslam argued over coffee cups and taking out the trash. April stated the argument escalated when Eslam began to push and pull her around the apartment. Eslam then began throwing dishes at her and forcing her to the ground, where she landed on the cat’s food bowl. April showed officers her torn shirt, several red marks, and scratches on her arms and legs. Then, officers spoke to Eslam, who told officers that he and April had argued and that April started slamming the door and kicking things. Eslam explained that this is why he put his hands on April. Eslam stated he was trying to prevent her from breaking other things in the residence. Eslam added that April also threw the cat bowl at him but did not hit him. Eslam Milad was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

19-year-old Marcus Mcclendon caught with over 100 grams of marijuana, blames brother

19-year-old Marcus Mcclendon was involved in a property damage crash on I-40 East late January 21st. Officers arrived and noticed a strong odor of marijuana as they approached the driver’s side. They asked him when was the last he smoked, and he stated that his brother had smoked in the car two days ago. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded 113 grams of marijuana and a firearm with an extended magazine in the trunk. Officers also noticed Mcclendon’s license was suspended. Mcclendon was taken into custody for possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm with intent, and driving with a suspended license.

Yoenis Tovar assaults husband with multiple objects during altercation, tells him “I’m going to kill you”

26-year-old Yoenis Luz Anaya Tovar assaulted her husband, Bryan Hernandez De las Salas, at their shared apartment on Lebanon Pike in the late hours of January 19th. Hernandez spoke with officers, advising them that he and Tovar argued when she began making offensive comments about his mother. Hernandez made similar comments in return, which angered Tovar. Tovar started punching Hernandez in the head, leaving visible injuries, which prompted Hernandez to record her. Tovar then grabbed and struck Hernandez with a cooking pot. Hernandez further explained that amid the action, Tovar got a towel, wrapped it around his throat, and tightened it, hindering his breathing. Tovar let Hernandez go when she saw his eyes start to roll to the back of his head. Tovar then grabbed a kitchen knife, put it to Hernandez’s throat, and told him, “I’m going to kill you,” before slicing his hand with a pair of scissors, leaving a laceration. Hernandez provided the video to officers, showing Tovar striking and strangling him in the nude. As they reviewed it, the videos started to disappear as if someone were deleting them. Hernandez stated that the only other person who had access to the account with the videos was Tovar. Officers observed the apparent injuries that Hernandez sustained, which were consistent with his statements. Officers searched the area and located Tovar in her vehicle in the parking lot. Officers asked Tovar if she knew why they were there, and she said, “Probably because he called about an assault,” but insisted that nothing had happened. Tovar was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Raquel Harden caught driving stolen Toyota Camry near Marathon Gas Station

31-year-old Raquel Harden was jailed on February 16th after police observed her driving a stolen Toyota Camry near the Marathon Gas Station on Trinity Lane. When officers ran the plates, they learned the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Memphis, TN, by Catherine Reese. Officers observed as the vehicle traveled to the apartments on Whites Creek Pike, where they conducted a takedown. Via a search using Harden’s TN ID, officers learned that Harden had an active felony warrant in Davidson County. Officers also learned Harden also did not have a valid driver’s license. Harden was taken into custody for theft of property, vehicle theft, and driving without a license on February 16th.
