Gabriel Jones assaults his cousin on 7th Avenue

25-year-old Gabriel Jeremiah Jones had a domestic incident with his cousin, Cameron Jayshone Johnson, near the First Baptist Church parking lot on 7th Avenue South in the early hours of May 11th. Multiple people flagged officers down, requesting assistance. When officers arrived, they spoke with Jones, who stated that after Johnson had an altercation with an unidentified individual, he became aggressive with him as well. He explained that Johnson put his hands up, trying to calm him down, so he grabbed him, which caused him to fall to the ground, leaving visible injuries on his arms and knees. Officers noticed both parties were intoxicated but deemed Jones as the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Gabriel J Jones was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 11th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $4,000.
