47-year-old Nora Elizabeth Matthews stole from Jacob Bishop’s storage unit between June 1st, 2022, and June 30th, 2022. Bishop told police that multiple musical instruments, valued around $6,000, were taken. On June 6th, 2022, Matthews pawned a cello from the burglary to Easy Pawn, and on June 16th, 2022, she sold one of the stolen guitars to Guitar Center. She provided them with her driver’s license for both transactions. Matthews was taken into custody for burglary on May 14th, 2024.
Nora Elizabeth Matthews of Danby Drive in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 15th, charged with burglary. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
