18-year-old Jaston Owens had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Sania La’sha Brooks, at Hunter Lane High School on May 15th. The occurrence was caught on security cameras, showing him putting his hands around her throat. Brooks later told SROs that he strangled her, but she did not lose consciousness. Owens was taken into custody for aggravated assault.
Jaston Owens was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 15th, charged with aggravated assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $10,000.
