30-year-old Cory Andrew Peckins was observed exposing his genitals and masturbating at Parmer Park on Leake Avenue in the afternoon hours of May 4th. Zane Gray alerted the authorities, and when they arrived, they noticed there were children present at the park. Officers discovered this was the second complaint concerning Peckins within two days. Gray provided them with a description of him. Police located Peckins at Phillips Toy Barn before finding that he had been charged with a similar crime in California and is currently on a $60,000 bond. His family members told police that he had not returned to court in California and was on the way to Virginia when he abandoned his vehicle somewhere in Davidson County. Peckins was taken into custody for indecent exposure on May 13th.
Cory Andrew Peckins of Spring Village Drive in Springfield, VA, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 13th, charged with indecent exposure. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
