25-year-old Darian Mckissack was involved in a domestic incident at a Meridian Park Apartments residence on the morning of May 16th. Upon arrival, as officers entered the unit, Mckissack approached them aggressively in a fighting stance with his fists clenched. Mckissack then pushed an officer with his hands. Officers told Mckissack he was under arrest, and he began pulling away while they tried to restrain him. Mckissack ignored their commands, forcing officers to utilize a taser to immobilize him. Mckissack was taken into custody for resisting arrest and assault of an officer.
Darian L Mckissack was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 16th, charged with assault and resisting arrest. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $3,500.
