DUI: Eric Fletcher scores .301% BAC during blood test after crashing car on Jacksonian Drive

51-year-old Eric Fletcher was involved in a car accident at Jacksonian Drive on May 26th. When officers arrived, they spoke with medics who told them that Fletcher smelled like marijuana. Officers made contact with Fletcher and asked him if he had been drinking or if he had been smoking marijuana. Fletcher confessed to having four beers and a homemade edible THC gummy earlier in the day. This led to officers requesting Fletcher to perform field sobriety tests. Fletcher consented to the sobriety tests but ended up performing poorly. Fletcher was then transported to a hospital, where the alcohol in his blood came back as 0.301% BAC. Due to Eric Fletcher being released in under three hours, he was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.

Jonathan Seck assaults girlfriend while trying to take her phone during argument

55-year-old Jonathan Seck had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Jessica Mitchell, at a Notchleaf Road residence around 7 p.m. on May 25th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Seck, who initially told them nothing had occurred. Later, after Mitchell provided them with photos of her injuries, they detained Seck. Under Miranda, Seck stated he and Mitchell argued over her seeing other women texting him, during which she punched him three times. Seck then tried to restrain her and accidentally cut her lip with his watch. Officers spoke with Mitchell, who stated that Seck had taken her phone, and while attempting to retrieve it, Seck struck her in the mouth with the back of his hand, causing it to bleed. Seck was taken into custody for domestic assault on May 26th.

DUI: Helen Hawk drives on wrong side of road, causes head-on collision after one glass of wine

75-year-old Helen Hawk was involved in a vehicle collision while under the influence near South 4th Street and Shelby Avenue on May 24th. Officers responded to a vehicle collision, and upon arrival, they noticed that Hawk had driven onto the Exit 49 ramp, I-24 West, from Shelby Avenue. This resulted in a head-on collision, and Hawk was transported to Skyline Hospital. Officers spoke with Hawk, who stated she had no memory of the incident or being transported to the hospital. Hawk also admitted to officers that she had drunk a glass of wine as well as a vodka drink prior to driving. Officers then conducted numerous sobriety tests on Hawk and saw numerous indicators of impairment, and she was taken into custody for DUI on May 25th.

Alan Cloyd punches man for working on vehicle he was going to buy from him

78-year-old Alan Cloyd was seen assaulting a man at his Timber Trail Drive residence on May 11th. When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim. The victim stated that Cloyd came to his house while he was working on a vehicle in his driveway. Cloyd was reportedly upset because the victim was working on the car that they agreed he would sell to him. Cloyd proceeded to grab the victim by the shirt, pushed him into a brick wall, and punched him. Officers then spoke with Cloyd, who stated that he was upset because the victim was taking the engine out of the vehicle that the victim told him that he was going to sell him. Cloyd proceeded to tell officers that since the victim was being disrespectful, he slapped him. Officers cited Cloyd for the violation that day. Cloyd was later booked on the citation of assault on May 22nd.

Victor Hernandez Jr booked after not paying $69 tab at Chief’s on Broadway

42-year-old Victor Hernandez Jr. was caught trying to not pay his tab at the Chief’s on Broadway on May 26th. When officers arrived, they were informed that Hernandez could not pay his tab and was intoxicated. Officers made contact and noticed a strong odor of alcohol as they approached Hernandez. After attempting to get Hernandez to pay the tab, a bartender let officers know he had several opportunities to pay and even tried to get other people to pay for him. Chief’s on Broadway provided law enforcement with Hernandez’s tab showing that he ordered four drinks totaling $69.48. Victor Hernandez Jr. was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication and theft of services.

Jasmine Rugante assaults sister after urinating on herself at Riverfront Park

24-year-old Jasmine Venya Rugante was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication at Riverfront Park on 1st Avenue South and Broadway on May 26th. Around 1:40 a.m., Rugante’s sister told officers that Rugante thought that their other sister said something “slick” to her after she urinated on herself while drinking, which sparked a scuffle between them. Rugante’s sister said she did not know who initiated the altercation because it happened so fast, adding that she was just there and intervened to break it up. The other involved sister stated that the three were walking as a group when Rugante peed herself. She said that Rugante thought they were talking down to her behind her back and advanced on her. This started the scuffle between them, leaving scratches on her neck and clavicle and ripping the left strap of her dress. Rugante’s other sister said she was not in pain and did not want to press charges. Then, officers spoke with Rugante, who stated that she thought her sisters were talking bad about her because she urinated on herself and said, “They know how I get when I am drinking.” She could not remember who initiated the fight. She was later detained for the occurrence.

Tatiana McNeill starts brawl at Whiskey River Saloon, punches security guard for kicking her out

38-year-old Tatiana McNeill was involved in a large fight at Whiskey River Saloon in the early hours of May 26th. When officers arrived, they observed her pushing and shoving a security guard outside of the establishment. Officers were advised that after the scuffle, McNeill was kicked out, and when she was denied access to the bar, she punched a security guard twice. Officers watched footage of the incident that showed her throwing the first punch, sparking the large fight inside. McNeill was deemed a danger to herself and was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

Daniel Garner fights man at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk, offers police oral sex to scratch his nose

37-year-old Daniel Joseph Garner caused a disturbance at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk on the evening of May 25th. Officers reported that Garner was spotted outside of Miranda Lambert’s bar, where he had a confrontation with them regarding him harassing women. After a brief interaction, he was instructed to stop and move along. Later, Garner was found at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk being aggressive towards patrons before physically assaulting a man in an elevator. Security intervened, removed him from the location, and detained him in a stairwell until the police arrived. Garner also reeked of alcohol, was visibly intoxicated, and had bloodshot eyes. Garner was jailed for the incident. While being transported, he made inappropriate remarks in the back of the patrol vehicle, including a request to scratch his nose in exchange for a blowjob. He further complained about being stuck in the back of the patrol car and not receiving assistance for his discomfort. Garner was taken into custody for disorderly conduct on May 26th.

Zachary Rourke found staggering down I-40 West, says he’s “walking to his sister’s house in Oxford, Michigan.”

34-year-old Zachary James Rourke was observed walking and staggering into traffic lanes on I-40 West near Mile Marker 195 in the late hours of May 25th. Witnesses also stated that he appeared “heavily intoxicated” before they called the police.  When officers arrived, they located Rourke stumbling westbound on the interstate, so they detained him and transported him to the McCrory Lane Twice Daily. As officers spoke with Rourke, they noticed he had a strong alcoholic odor and minor scrapes on his legs, which he claimed were from walking through the woods near his sister’s house in Oxford, Michigan. Rourke that he was “walking to his sister’s house in Oxford, Michigan.” He refused to answer how long he had been walking or if he had been drinking while repeating that he was heading to see his sister. After further questioning, officers learned he was staying at a Marriott Hotel in Nashville, but Rourke could not specify which one. Then, Rourke said he was at the hotel with a woman he had met on the Hinge dating app and that they had broken up, so she was no longer there. Officers deemed him unable to care for himself and detained him for the occurrence. After transporting Rourke to booking, deputies discovered a dime bag filled with a substance resembling cocaine. Rourke was taken into custody for public intoxication and contraband in a penal institution.
