46-year-old Basil Boyer was seen stumbling in lanes of traffic on Thompson Lane on May 25th. When officers approached Boyer, he stopped and admitted that he was drunk. Boyd then clarified and admitted he had been drinking. Law enforcement deemed that Basil Boyer was so intoxicated that he would be a damage to himself or others, so he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Basil John Boyer was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 25th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
