26-year-old Nicholas Perdue was observed with an unknown individual trying to steal merchandise from the Old Hickory Boulevard Target around 1:04 p.m. on May 10th. They entered the establishment and selected several items, including cat litter and pet treats, which they failed to scan at the self-checkout. Then, when they tried to exit the store, Wesley Barrett, a loss prevention agent, stopped them. Barrett added that Perdue had been stealing from the location since 2022. On May 21st, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Perdue was taken into custody for theft on May 29th.

Nicholas Perdue of Seven Springs Way in Brentwood, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 29th, charged with theft. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
