24-year-old Nicholas Longmire was taken into custody for public intoxication on June 2nd. At around 2 a.m., Longmire’s girlfriend alerted the authorities, advising them that he was heavily intoxicated and had separated from his friends. Initially, officers could not locate him, so they called the girlfriend, who provided them with his whereabouts, telling them he was inside the Ascend Amphitheater, where they observed him walking on the sidewalk and approached him. During their interaction, Longmire showed multiple signs of inebriation, reeked of alcohol, and could not tell them where he was going for the night. They deemed him too intoxicated to care for himself and detained him for the incident.
