41-year-old Activist Allison Polidor was booked on a citation for disrupting an official meeting on June 12th. On April 19th, around 11:45 a.m., the House of Representatives speaker called for the gallery to be cleared of all spectators, but Allison stood firm, silently holding a sign protesting a GOP plan for school vouchers. Troopers pleaded with Polidor for 10 minutes, but she refused to leave and stated it was her right to be present while laws were being passed. Troopers removed Allison and threatened to take Allison to jail, but a phone call to her Lawyer clarified that what she did was not an arrestable offense, so she was cited for the occurrence. Ms. Polidor isn’t new to protesting. She’s been physically removed from the House gallery several times before for being a “disruption” to an official meeting.
