Cody Johnson caught after several people trespass on man’s vacant property

29-year-old Cody James Johnson was one of several people trespassing on Malek Nabil Yafai’s Old Elm Hill Pike property around 6:51 p.m. on February 21st. Yafai told responding officers the location was vacant but had an active trespass waiver on file. Yafai stated that he wanted Johnson and the others removed from the property. Yafai also wanted to press charges for the occurrence. When officers located Johnson, he told them he knew he was not supposed to be there but was retrieving his belongings. Johnson explained that Yafai had repeatedly told him not to be on the property. Johnson was cited for the incident that day. Johnson was later booked on the citation of criminal trespassing on June 17th.

Cody James Johnson of Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 17th, charged with criminal trespassing. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
