24-year-old David Muhire was found asleep behind the wheel of his white 2015 GMC Terrain near Bell Road and Hickory Hollow Trace in the morning hours of August 2nd, 2023. When officers arrived, they noticed the vehicle was in drive with two empty beer bottles in the cup holders. Officers tried to wake Muhire up multiple times but were unsuccessful. Officers were then forced to break his window to retrieve him. Muhire remained unresponsive until he got to Southern Hills Hospital, where a nurse stated he had a 0.384 BAC% and would be there for three hours. Muhire was cited for the occurrence that day. Muhire was later booked on the citation of driving under the influence on June 17th, 2024.
David Muhire of Hickory Trace Drive in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 17th, charged with driving under the influence. He was released on his own recognizance.
