Stillwell added that Crabtree broke into the coin-operated washers and dryers to steal quarters from them. He was caught on camera entering the laundry room, prying open the change boxes, and stealing around $350 worth of quarters from 9 machines. Crabtree damaged the machines extensively to where some were no longer operational. Stillwell said it would cost over $1,000 to repair the damage Crabtree caused. Additionally, on May 1st, Stillwell had seen Crabtree on the property. Crabtree admitted to breaking the machines because he was drunk. She showed officers he had been on the ban list and was evicted from the complex since February 2024. A warrant was issued for his arrest on May 3rd.
