James Lassiter attempts to run from authorities after fighting in front of Jack’s Bar-B-Que

22-year-old James Lassiter was seen fighting in front of Jack’s Bar-B-Que on June 23rd just after 3 a.m. Officers observed Lassiter and three other individuals fighting in front of Jack’s Bar-B-Que. Officers ordered the four to stop fighting immediately, but they all continued to fight. Officers attempted to separate Lassiter from another individual by detaining him while they were on the ground. Lassiter stood up, pushed the officer down, and tried to run away from the officers. Lassiter was, however, quickly subdued, restrained from behind, and taken into custody on the ground. James Lassiter was then transported to booking and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

James Lassiter of Mitchell Road in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 23rd, charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $750, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
