Garth Brooks charged in shameless domestic assault of his girlfriend; what she’s doing now

28-year-old Garth Brooks recently had a domestic altercation with his girlfriend and mother of his child, Kashawna Jordan, at her Southwood Park Place apartment. Before officers arrived, Kashawna’s sister observed Kashawna and Brooks scuffling and alerted police. Responding officers noticed signs of a struggle and discovered that Kashawna had left beforehand, so they interviewed everyone separately. Kashawna’s mother advised them that Kashawna and Brooks fought after arguing inside the apartment, during which she tried to stop them. After this, she said Kashawna ran outside, where Brooks followed, and by the time she caught up to them, Brooks was on top of her, striking her. Her mother added that Kashawna had left with an unknown friend for safety, and Brooks returned to the apartment. Brooks initially denied any physical contact with Kashawna but then admitted to chasing after her because he did not want her to leave. Then, Kashawna’s sister told officers that she called them after hearing the fight, which she briefly saw before it continued outside. Brooks was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on June 25th.

Richard Cook charged with DUI; urinates on himself during traffic stop

63-year-old Richard Cook was caught driving under the influence at the intersection of Eatons Creek Road and Old Clarksville Pike on June 24th. Officers requested a backup at a traffic stop at the intersection. When the officers arrived, they were told by other officers that Cook had run a stop sign. When officers made contact with Cook, they immediately noticed signs of intoxication and that Cook had urinated himself. Cook was then asked to step out of the vehicle. As he exited, he was unsteady on his feet and could not balance without the help of his car. After observing this, officers requested Cook to perform sobriety tests. Cook agreed to sobriety tests but performed poorly on all of them, so he was then into custody for driving under the influence.

Shanta Chambers slaps boyfriend on back after turning away during argument

23-year-old Shanta Chambers was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Tre Henry, at their Extended Stay Nashville hotel on Myatt Drive on June 24th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Chambers, who admitted that she slapped Henry on his back. Chambers claimed that she did this when Henry turned away from her during an argument about their living situation. Coleton Dobbs, a witness to the incident, told officers that he observed Chambers strike Henry on his back. Based on the statements made, Shanta Chambers was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

DUI: Kelsey Guarisco crashes after consuming three glasses of wine in downtown Nashville

33-year-old Kelsey Guarisco was involved in a single-vehicle accident on I-40 West near Mile Marker 192 at 10:37 p.m. on June 19th. Once officers arrived, they observed the Nashville Fire Department removing the vehicle’s roof to free Guarisco. She was then transported to the hospital for treatment. While at the hospital, officers Mirandized Guarisco and questioned her about the incident. Guarisco admitted to having three glasses of wine at her dinner in downtown Nashville and then attempting to go home. She added that she could not remember much besides driving and being helped out of her vehicle by NFD. Officers attempted to get Guarisco to consent to a blood draw, but she was going in and out of consciousness and could not fully understand what they were asking. A warrant was issued for her arrest on June 20th. Kelsey Guarisco was then taken into custody for driving under the influence on June 24th after recovering.

Brook Boblett ransacks Sudden Service store, causes over $3000 in damages

28-year-old Brook Boblett vandalized the Sudden Service on Old Hickory Boulevard at 4:37 a.m. on April 27th. The location’s store manager, Nancy Campbell, alerted authorities and showed them footage of Boblett slamming the VeriFone Point of Sale system. The video then displayed Boblett ripping and damaging a sliding rack from the cigarette section before slamming it on the ground. After doing that, Boblett damaged the TN Lottery Module. Campbell estimated the reparations to cost around $3,000. A warrant was issued for her arrest. Brook Boblett was taken into custody for vandalism on June 24th.

Public Intoxication: Christopher Ross jailed after walking in the middle of traffic

26-year-old Christopher Ross was seen visibly intoxicated outside Tin Roof Demonbreun on June 23rd. While patrolling, officers observed Ross arguing with security personnel because they would not allow him inside the bar. Officers approached to assist security, but Ross could not form coherent sentences. Ross eventually told officers that he needed to call his mother. Officers waited for Ross, but he was unable to unlock his phone, so the officers allowed him to use their phone. Ross continued to struggle to enter the correct number, so officers offered to give him a ride to get him a ride home or to medical attention. Ross refused, but he was observed walking into traffic; he was deemed unable to care for his safety and was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Brittany Biggerstaff: “I do all of Nashville’s hair & I will pee on myself if you don’t release me!”

34-year-old Brittany Cecilia Biggerstaff had gotten kicked out of Nashville Underground for being “too drunk” at 10:30 p.m. on June 22nd. Security for the establishment flagged officers down and advised them they did not want her to return to the location. They wanted officers to speak with her and possibly arrange a ride home. Once officers escorted Biggerstaff away from the bar, they reported that they noticed that she reeked of alcohol and showed signs of intoxication. While arranging a ride with her husband, who was supposedly picking her up from 1st Avenue South and Broadway, they instructed her to wait there as they spoke with Nashville Underground employees.

During the security and officers’ conversation, Biggerstaff followed them to the bar. She told officers that she did not like how they were speaking with security about her. After walking her back to the corner, she became irate and dropped her phone on the ground. Biggerstaff then looked at the officers and said, “Pick it up!” She was then detained for the occurrence. Officers further discovered that Biggerstaff was on probation for a DUI from 2010, with several DUI offenses in the past. While in the patrol car, she told officers that she was a hairdresser who does all of Nashville’s hair and that she would urinate herself if they did not let her go. Brittany Biggerstaff was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Anthony Muhammad violates order of protection, threatens to shoot up ex-girlfriend’s house and family

18-year-old Anthony Muhammad threatened his ex-girlfriend, Abbie Love, on June 23rd. Love called 911 to her Vine Hill Road residence and told them that Muhammad had been violating a temporary order of protection she filed on him on June 14th. Love added that Muhammad had been calling her through a blocked number repeatedly, threatening to shoot up her house and her family and come to her work. Love then told officers that he also had his friends message her multiple times with the same threats. Since the order of protection was issued, Love said she has seen Muhammad walking in her neighborhood even though he lives 7.9 miles away. Authorities observed that Muhammad called her 31 times on June 23rd between 12:38 a.m. and 12:55 a.m. via a blocked number. Love stated that the one time she answered, he said he would shoot her if she did not get rid of the order of protection. Love said she felt extremely threatened because he knew where she lived and worked and that he said that he “would be up there.” Anthony Muhammad was later taken into custody for stalking and an order of protection violation.

Josey Bullis calls police on pandhandler; upset he did not have a job

38-year-old Josey Emerson Bullis called the police under the name “James Joseph,” stating that Christopher Ware had threatened him at gunpoint on Highway 70 South near the I-40 Entrance Ramp around 9:09 a.m. on June 21st. Officers called Bullis back and spoke with him again, during which he said that Ware pointed a Glock handgun at him. Bullis added that he did not want to press charges and was no longer at the location. After this, he told them that Ware threatened to shoot the police. When officers arrived at the ramp, they spoke with Ware, who stated he never displayed a weapon and did not wish to harm police. Officers checked with the dispatcher and discovered several 911 calls from Bullis’ number that never amounted to anything. After this, they located Bullis at Highway 70 South Circle K and spoke with him. He initially denied making the 911 call until they informed him that they linked him to the phone number. Bullis then admitted that Ware never showed a weapon and that he made a false 911 call. Bullis added that he called them because Ware was panhandling for money instead of working a job. Bullis was taken into custody for filing a false report.

Aide Cruz slaps daughter at Circle K gas station, states that her daughter shouldn’t disrespect her

31-year-old Aide Cruz was involved in a domestic altercation with her minor daughter at the Murfreesboro Pike Circle K gas station on June 22nd. When officers arrived, they learned that Cruz had been transported to Southern Hills Hospital following a panic attack. Once they got to the hospital, they spoke with Cruz’s daughter. She stated that she was out with her boyfriend at Circle K when Cruz came to pick her up. She said that after telling Cruz she did not want to leave, it sparked an argument. During the argument, Cruz smacked her in the face, so she pushed her in return. When Cruz recovered, she spoke with officers and confirmed her daughter’s statements. Cruz added that when she started cursing at her, she smacked her in the mouth because she did not believe that her daughter should disrespect her. Aide Cruz was then taken into custody for domestic assault on June 23rd.
