Lydia Clem steals man’s ring worth over $5,000 at Nail Time & Spa Inc

79-year-old Lydia Perez Clem stole one of Theodore Washington III’s rings at Nail Time & Spa Inc on Highway 70 South on May 14th. Washington III reported taking off two rings next to the base light on the countertop where he sat while his hands were soaked. He stated that he was later moved to another chair and accidentally left his rings until he finished at the second chair. When Washington III returned, he discovered one of his rings had been stolen. Washington III then notified the spa about the theft. South Nail Time Spa let him review their camera footage. The footage showed Clem dropping something small a couple of times near where Washington III’s rings were before examining the small item in her hand, reaching down toward her purse on the right side of her chair, and pulling her empty hand back up. Washington III believed this was when Clem put what was later identified as his ring in her purse. The spa gave officers Clem’s information, and they went to her residence. Officers asked Clem if she would return the ring. Clem returned the ring to officers stating, “I feel bad. I should not have done that.” Washington III valued the ring between $5,000 to $8,000. Clem was taken into custody for theft on June 13th.

Moises Noyola speeds 85 mph in 55 mph zone

27-year-old Noyola Moises was observed speeding on I-440 East near Mile Marker 6.6 late May 17th. Officers noticed Moises going 85 mph in a 55 mph zone and using the emergency lane to pass other vehicles, so they conducted a traffic stop. They discovered he did not have insurance or a valid driver’s license and issued him a citation. Moises was booked on the citations of not having a driver’s license, evidence of compliance violation, and reckless driving on June 10th.

Garth Wood attempts to buy Honda with fake check, tells police he’s a “Sovereign Citizen”

33-year-old Garth Lee Wood tried to purchase a car with a fraudulent check at the Rosa L Parks Boulevard Honda Dealership on June 13th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Wood, who stated he was a “Sovereign Citizen” with a “personal bank.” The “Sovereign Citizen” movement is a large anti-government extremist movement whose members believe that courts have no jurisdiction over people. Wood told police he wanted to purchase a vehicle, but Honda employees denied it because his check did not appear real. When police reviewed the check, they noticed it was of “unique quality.” The check had a misspelled address that was not associated with any banks and was written for a total amount of $50,000 made out to Honda Dealership. Kevin Carter, an employee at the establishment, told officers that Wood was confronted about the check. In response, Wood told the employee to “take half of it, just help me out, please.” Wood was then taken into custody for attempted criminal simulation.

Activist Allison Polidor refuses to leave House of Representative’s gallery once again

41-year-old Activist Allison Polidor was booked on a citation for disrupting an official meeting on June 12th. On April 19th, around 11:45 a.m., the House of Representatives speaker called for the gallery to be cleared of all spectators, but Allison stood firm, silently holding a sign protesting a GOP plan for school vouchers. Troopers pleaded with Polidor for 10 minutes, but she refused to leave and stated it was her right to be present while laws were being passed. Troopers removed Allison and threatened to take Allison to jail, but a phone call to her Lawyer clarified that what she did was not an arrestable offense, so she was cited for the occurrence. Ms. Polidor isn’t new to protesting. She’s been physically removed from the House gallery several times before for being a “disruption” to an official meeting.

Samuel Kimball tells police he “sh*t” on mother’s bed “because she’s a b**ch”

35-year-old Samuel Kimball was taken into custody for vandalism on June 13th. Around 6:15 p.m., Elaine Kimball, Samuel’s mom, called the police to their October Woods Drive residence and advised them that she had left the house early in the morning and returned around 4:30 p.m., which was when she discovered that Samuel had thrown food from the refrigerator onto the floor, breaking a glass bowl, thrown a full litterbox around the kitchen and her bedroom, had written “liar” on her bedroom door, flipped over her mattress and defecated on it. Officers spoke with Samuel, who stated he was upset over a car situation and how his parents were verbally abusive to his boyfriend. He said that he had “snapped” over 35 years’ worth of emotional abuse from them and had “shit on her bed because she is a bitch.” He was then detained for the occurrence.

Jonathan Shannon strikes woman in face because dinner wasn’t made when he got home

49-year-old Jonathon Shannon was involved in a domestic altercation with Buckner Latoya at a Glenmeade Drive residence on June 1st. When officers arrived, they spoke with Latoya, who stated that she had spoken with Shannon earlier in the day, telling him that there was meat to make tacos but that she needed other ingredients. Latoya then told officers that Shannon had left the residence to go to the liquor store. When Shannon returned, he became upset that dinner had not been made because he was hungry. Shannon then struck Latoya in the face with his palm, causing her upper lip to bleed and become swollen. Latoya then called the police, causing Shannon to flee the scene. A warrant was issued for Shannon’s arrest that day. Shannon was taken into custody for domestic assault on June 12th.

Isabel Lewis assaults boyfriend for trying to break up with her

23-year-old Isabel Lewis had a domestic incident with her boyfriend, Bryce King, at his Enchanted Circle residence around 10:50 a.m. on June 12th. King told responding officers that he had been trying to break up with Lewis for several weeks. That day, she came over and started drinking alcohol, so he asked her to leave and escorted her outside, during which she became angry and kicked in his door while calling him derogatory slurs and hitting him repeatedly. Lewis admitted to kicking the door in but denied attacking King. She was then deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Victor Siles drunkenly assaults cousin during altercation

39-year-old Victor Siles had a domestic altercation with his cousin, Reyna Rodriguez, at a Brick Church Pike residence on June 12th. Rodriguez stated that Siles had been drinking and became violent, which led to him grabbing her left arm and causing a visible scratch. Apolinario Lajon, Rodriguez’s husband, corroborated her statements, adding that he witnessed Siles scratch her arm. When officers spoke with Siles, he told them nothing had occurred. Siles was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Keonta Howard punches Dad in face multiple times

25-year-old Keonta Howard was involved in a domestic altercation with his father, Torren Howard, at a Berkshire Place apartment near Porter Road on June 11th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Torren, who stated that he had gotten into an argument with Keonta, his son. Torren told officers that Keonta punched him multiple times in the face. Officers observed the swelling as well as a small cut to his face and a bloody nose. Keonta was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Errica Davis assaults roommate, destroys his phone while he tries to move out

26-year-old Errica Davis was involved in a domestic altercation with Timothy Spears, a roommate, at a Murfreesboro Pike Apartment residence on June 12th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Spears, who told officers that he came to the location to get the rest of his things so he could move out. Spears stated that while he was gathering his things, Davis became aggressive and locked him out of the bedroom. Spears’ phone was inside the bedroom, and when he was able to get inside the bedroom and recover his phone, the screen was shattered, which was observed by officers. Spears also informed officers that Davis had pushed him multiple times and grabbed him by the shirt collar, pulling him around. Davis then grabbed Spears’ shorts pocket, pulling him into the kitchen counter and injuring his wrist. Officers then spoke with Davis, who stated that Spears pushed her, so she locked herself in the bedroom. When she finally left the room, Spears went inside and grabbed his phone, but she claimed she did not know why his phone was broken. After seeing the phone and Spears’ torn clothes, officers determined Davis to be the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for domestic assault and vandalism.
