Yudenis Hernanez Padron charged with shoplifting $1200 of merchandise from Target

38-year-old Yudenis Hernanez Padron was seen stealing from the Target on Gallatin Pike on June 21st. Target loss prevention staff detained Padron after observing her attempting to shoplift. Employees provided officers with numerous report numbers documenting Padron’s previous shoplifting sprees and surveillance footage. All of the merchandise that was stolen was valued at $1251.82. Yudenis Padron was then taken into custody for theft.

Jamal Browder stops girlfriend from leaving, tells her “give me a reason to hit you”

29-year-old Jamal Jeffrey Browder had a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Kimani Jones, at their Clay Street apartment around midnight on June 23rd. At approximately 9:27 a.m., officers were called to the Clarksville Pike Save-A-Lot and spoke with Jones. Jones stated that she and Browder had gone out drinking the night before and that when they returned to their apartment, Browder had become belligerent, trying to get a reaction from her. In an attempt to remove herself from the situation, Jones started packing a bag to leave for the night. As she began, Browder jumped on the bed to make himself taller than her and started yelling at her, “You are not going anywhere,” while throwing her belongings out of her bag and breaking them around the unit. Jones said she ran down the stairs but came back into contact with Browder, who was waiting for her. Browder wrapped his arms around her and repeatedly said, “Give me a reason to hit you,” until she broke from his grip. Once Harris was away from Browder, she ran to her car, where she slept for the rest of the night. Officers escorted Harris to her residence for her belongings, and Browder was taken into custody for false imprisonment and domestic assault.

Master Booster Sade Harris jailed; caught shoplifting in 4K at Green Hills Mall

35-year-old Sade Deshay Harris was seen stealing merchandise from the Sephora inside The Mall at Green Hills on May 17th. Surveillance footage showed Harris concealing $318 worth of items into a bag and then leaving without paying. After officers compared her past booking photos with the footage, she was identified, and a warrant was obtained for her arrest on May 28th. Sade Harris was taken into custody for theft on June 25th.

Maria Navarro jailed after fighting in front of Jack’s Bar-B-Que in downtown Nashville

32-year-old Maria Navarro was seen fighting in front of Jack’s Bar-B-Que on June 23rd. Officers observed Navarro and others fighting and quickly intervened to separate the parties. When officers ordered everyone to stop, Navarro continued to be aggressive and ignored the order to put her hands behind her back. Navarro continued to resist putting her hands behind her back, but officers eventually were able to detain her safely. When questioned by officers, Navarro was verbally aggressive towards them and refused to answer any questions. Officers observed that she was having trouble maintaining her balance as other signs that she was intoxicated. Authorities deemed that Maria Navarro was a danger to herself and the people around her, so she was placed under arrest for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

DUI: Kendra Flores rear ends car, tells officers that she didn’t know she was in an accident

29-year-old Kendra Flores was involved in a car collision at I-24 at around 2:50 a.m. on June 23rd. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Flores, who was unaware that she had just been in a car accident. Officers observed that her vehicle was still in drive, as well as signs that she was intoxicated. Seeing these signs, Flores was requested to perform sobriety tests. Due to Flores performing poorly, she was taken into custody for driving under the influence. While in officers’ custody, Flores admitted that she drank multiple margaritas throughout the day, as well as two tequila shots. Flores was then transported to booking and charged with driving under the influence.

Demarco Ellis ,19, jailed after possessing around 90 grams of marijuana and a .40 caliber pistol

19-year-old Demarco Ellis was seen trespassing with his 16-year-old co-defendant at the Hickory Ridge Apartments on June 23rd. The location’s property manager called the police after observing this. When officers arrived, they noticed a silver Nissan Altima with two occupants, later identified as Ellis and the minor. They observed the Altima backing into a parking spot with the two front seats reclined as if they were avoiding being found. Officers approached the driver’s side door and spoke with Ellis, during which they saw a green, leafy substance consistent with marijuana on his black hoodie. This led them to request Ellis to exit the vehicle. Once he got out, he admitted that there was marijuana inside a “blunt” in the center console. Officers detained them and searched the vehicle, resulting in them locating a small plastic bag with 1.9 grams of marijuana on the center console, a black Nike backpack on the floorboard with a plastic bag containing 89.7 grams of marijuana, and an empty .40 caliber pistol magazine, two wrappers, a vape, a scale, two 150-count boxes of sandwich bags, and two empty vacuum-sealed bags with marijuana residue in the trunk. The minor told officers, under Miranda, that he was with Ellis so they could smoke marijuana together. Ellis was taken into custody for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, felony possession, and underage tobacco possession.

Shovel-wielding Roddrick Greene asks man if he wants to wrestle; throws concrete at window

21-year-old Roddrick Greene caused a disturbance at Christopher Michael Jacobs’ Bayview Drive residence around 8:39 p.m. on Saturday. When officers arrived, they observed Greene walking towards the home with a shovel, so they told him to put it down. After complying with the officers’ request, Greene picked up a piece of concrete and threw it at Jacobs’ window, breaking it in the process. Seeing this, officers commanded him to lie on the ground and detained him for the incident. While escorting Green to their patrol car, they noticed he was making unclear statements and showed signs of intoxication. Jacobs told officers that before their arrival, Greene had approached him and asked “If he wants to wrestle,” but when he told him no, Greene started moving closer and put his hands up in a fighting stance. Roddrick Greene was then taken into custody for assault, criminal trespass, vandalism, and public intoxication.

Jason Revels tries to open his “friend’s” apartment door, caught with marijuana pipe

32-year-old Jason Revels tried to enter his “friend’s” Thomas Jefferson Circle apartment in the early hours of June 22nd. Officers were called to the location, where they found Revels trying to enter the locked unit. When they asked Revels why he was there, he told them a friend lived there and that he was supposed to be staying the night. However, when officers gave Revels a chance to call “his friend,” no one answered. Officers tried knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell, but no one came to the door. Due to Revels’ level of intoxication and being an unreasonable annoyance to the public, officers took him into custody. During a subsequent search, officers found a small glass marijuana pipe in his front left pocket. Revels was then transported to booking and charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.

Mackenze Hedstrom jailed after stealing over $13,000 from multiple employers

23-year-old Mackenze Hedstrom was caught stealing from the Lowes on Old Hickory Boulevard on June 21st. When officers arrived, Lowes employees informed officers that Hedstrom was leaving on foot. When officers detained Hedstrom, they discovered she had a warrant, so she was taken into custody. Upon searching Hedstrom, officers found a baggie in her purse containing a white powdery substance consistent with narcotics. Officers again spoke with employees and discovered that Hedstrom had been stealing from the establishment since May. After an interview with Hedstrom, she admitted to stealing and signed a confession to the crime. The money that went missing was over $2,691.

The warrant had to do with a case involving Habor Freight Tools. The loss prevention manager for the Harbor Freight Tools on Lebanon Pike contacted authorities, stating that $10,992 was stolen from the store between February 2nd and March 21st. The store provided officers with video footage of multiple incidents showing Hedstrom, a former employee, taking money from the cash drawer. Mackenze Hedstrom was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance and two counts of theft on June 21st.

Christian Delcid jailed after threatening to kill individuals with a BB gun

26-year-old Christian Delcid was pointed out as one of the individuals who had threatened two victims at The Overton Brentwood apartments Sunday afternoon. When officers arrived, Delcid was seen walking around a corner by a bush. Officers detained him and located an air-powered BB gun that looked like a real handgun. Officers were told by the victims that Delcid had stolen a gun a week before. They also advised that Delcid pulled the weapon, aimed it at their heads, and threatened to kill them. It was reported that Delcid kept mentioning that he was from Guatemala and the two victims were from Mexico. During their interaction, they noticed Delcid was carrying an alcoholic beverage and was visibly impaired. Christian Delcid was deemed a danger to others and was taken into custody for two counts of aggravated assault and public intoxication.
