26-year-old Nicholas Robert Nelson had gotten through a TSA security checkpoint and started screaming at TSA agents near Gate B6 in Nashville International Airport late June 28th. Officers observed him running toward them and determined he was highly intoxicated due to him reeking of alcohol and his incoherent speaking. Officers then spoke with Nelson’s girlfriend over the phone, where she told them Nelson had been drinking heavily earlier in the day. Nelson was then taken into custody for public intoxication on June 29th.
Nicholas Robert Nelson was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 29th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
