34-year-old William David Cunningham caused a disturbance at the Holliday Inn Express on Broadway in the early hours of July 14th. The hotel staff told responding officers they found Cunningham sleeping in the lobby. Then, when the police approached him, they tried to wake him up, and he instructed them to “f*ck off!” Cunningham then refused to answer their questions and disregarded their orders. During their interaction, officers noticed he reeked of alcohol and was visibly intoxicated, so they detained him for the occurrence. Cunningham was taken into custody for public intoxication.
William David Cunningham was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 14th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
