27-year-old Michael Story was seen causing a disturbance in the middle of the road on Nesbitt Lane and Heritage Drive on July 15th. When officers arrived, they observed a white Nissan Maxima parked at the stop sign on Heritage Drive. Once they approached the vehicle, they found Story sleeping in the backseat, wearing only his underwear. While attempting to wake Story up, officers observed an open bottle of beer and a box of beers open across the floorboard. After waking up, Story had trouble answering simple questions, couldn’t maintain his balance, and aggressively slurred his speech. This compelled officers to ask Story to perform sobriety tests. Story consented to the tests and ended up showing signs of impairment. After the tests, officers checked Story’s name and found that he had a revoked license. Michael Story was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license on July 16th.
