29-year-old India Fields was involved in a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, Michael Campbell, at their Abbington Heights apartment on July 16th. Campbell contacted law enforcement, stating that when he got home from work, Fields started arguing with him because she believed that he was cheating. Campbell advised that because of this, he believed Fields was trying to kick him out. While Campbell was picking up his belongings, Fields grabbed a cord from his PlayStation and threw it at him. This caused a bruise on his chest, which officers observed. When officers spoke to Fields, she said there was an argument between her and Campbell. Fields added that she wanted to kick him out. Fields advised that she helped Campbell pack his things, picked up his PlayStation cord, and threw it, but not at him. According to Fields, Campbell charged at her, so she pushed him. A scratch mark was observed on Fields’ foot. Due to the evidence available, Fields was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.
