Daniel Sallay jailed after opening bank accounts under multiple identities at First Horizon Bank

39-year-old Daniel Lee Sallay was caught opening fraudulent accounts at the Union Street First Horizon Bank around 10:15 a.m. on July 18th. When police arrived, the manager at the location stated that a male, later identified as Sallay, had opened four accounts at their other establishments, and they wanted him prosecuted. Then, officers searched Sallay and found an Alaska license with the name Chris Rathbone and an Ohio license with the name Corey L Phillips, two bank patrons. Sallay was then taken into custody for two counts of identity theft.

Daniel Sallay was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 18th, charged with identity theft. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $76,000.
