30-year-old James Moss had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Christa McMahan, at their Jonesboro Drive residence on the afternoon of July 23rd. McMahan told responding officers she was arguing with Moss while packing her belongings to move out. During this, she said she went to the bathroom to grab some items. She stated Moss entered the bathroom, shut the door, and locked it. Her friend, Isabel Martinez, who witnessed and recorded the event, stated she heard him yell, “You ain’t going nowhere!” When officers spoke with Moss, he denied making that statement but admitted to going into the bathroom to talk to her and closing the door.
