38-year-old Jordan Shane caused a disturbance on Broadway late July 27th. Patrolling officers came across Shane, who was visibly intoxicated, raising his voice at a rideshare driver, making a scene. When police asked Shane what was happening, he told them he was trying to return to his hotel. Shane said he was staying at the “L Hotel” and later stated he was staying at the “Virgins Hotel.”

During their interaction, officers noticed he reeked of alcohol and repeatedly closed his eyes before falling asleep. Shane added that he was in town alone and had no phone to call anyone. Shane was deemed a danger to himself and was detained for the occurrence. While being transferred to DCSO custody, they searched Shane and found Adderall pills. Shane was then jailed for public intoxication and contraband in a Penal institution.
