Karen Vaughn steals sister’s $1,000 boat from Four Corners Marina

61-year-old Karen Renee Vaughn stole from her sister, Janet Dixon, on June 1st. On June 18th, Dixon reported that Vaughn had been on her boat about a month prior and had access to her purse, where she kept her spare key to Four Corners Marina.

Dixon said that on June 1st, Vaughn unlocked the gate to the marina, went on her boat, and took her property without her consent. A warrant was then obtained for Vaughn’s arrest. Dixon’s boat was valued at $1,000. Vaughn was later taken into custody for theft on July 29th.

Karen Renee Vaughn of Pamela Drive in La Vergne, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on July 29th, charged with theft. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $1,500, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave her pre-trial release from their facility.
