April Earps booked for public intoxication, tells police she didn’t know anyone’s number

22-year-old April Earps was seen visually impaired at 12:40 a.m. on July 5th. Earps approached officers, stating she could not get home and needed assistance. While interacting with Earps, officers observed that she was intoxicated. During their conversation, Earps admitted that she had been drinking. Earps informed officers that she lived out of county, so they could not transport her to her residence. Officers attempted to get her a taxi, but she told officers that she felt unsafe being alone in a taxi. Earps was then told to call someone to help her get home. Earps told officers that she didn’t know anyone’s number. Officers deemed that Earps was unable to care for herself, so she was taken into custody for public intoxication.

Adam Chantarumporn destroys intimate partner’s cigarettes during argument

41-year-old Adam Chantarumporn was seen vandalizing Dustin Hall’s, one of his intimate partners, property at their Herman Street apartment residence on July 5th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Hall, who stated that he and Chantarumporn argued about slamming doors inside their residence. Hall also advised officers that Chantarumporn had approached and pushed him during the argument. Officers then spoke with Chantarumporn, who claimed that Hall was actually the one who had pushed him during the argument. Officers could not verify either of the statements as there were no marks on either chest to corroborate their statements. While speaking with officers, Hall advised that Chantarumporn destroyed his cigarettes when the argument ended. When asked about the cigarettes, Chantarumporn admitted throwing Hall’s cigarettes down the garbage disposal because he was mad at him. Chantarumporn also admitted that he purchased the cigarettes for Hall and noted that he does not smoke. Based on the admission of guilt of the destroyed property, Chantarumporn was taken into custody for vandalism.

Johnnita Easley beats father with can of corn during robbery

45-year-old Johnnita Easley was caught stealing from her father, Reginald Easley, at his Trevecca Towers apartment on May 27th. When officers arrived, they met with Reginald, who stated that his daughter and grandson robbed him. Officers observed that Reginald had a knot on his forehead, bloodshot eyes, a cut on his eyelids, and a busted lip. Reginald went on to say that he let Johnnita and his grandson into his apartment to hang out. During their interaction, Reginald displayed $200 in his wallet. Reginald stated that once they saw the cash, Johnnita held him down and started hitting him in the face. While he was being held down, his grandson approached him and held a knife to his throat. Johnnita proceeded to take Reginald’s phone and money from him while his grandson was still holding the knife to his throat, saying, “Give us the money.” Reginald also noted that Johnnita beat him over the head with a can of corn as his grandson held the knife to his throat. Inside the house was the father of Reginald’s grandson, and he stated that he witnessed the incident and corroborated Reginald’s story. Johnnita was taken into custody for aggravated robbery on July 3rd.

DUI: Hayden Embry drives Mercedes after drinking Fireball, tells police he “ran out of gas”

22-year-old Hayden Embry was seen in the middle of Headry Drive and Harding Pike in a white Mercedes sedan displaying his hazard lights late July 4th. When officers approached Embry, they observed that he was visually intoxicated. Embry told officers that he “ran out of gas.” Embry agreed to perform field sobriety tests but performed them poorly, showing multiple signs of impairment. During a search of Embry’s car, officers located two open Fireball shot containers with a small amount of liquid in them. Embry was taken into custody for driving under the influence and open container on July 5th.

Lanaya Patton shoves police officers while acting erratically at Shake Shack

18-year-old Lanaya Patton was seen acting disorderly and pushing officers at Shake Shack in downtown Nashville on Broadway Place on July 4th. Officers observed Patton acting erratically and shouting while on the phone. Officers then approached her and asked Patton to leave. Patton then refused, became aggressive, and began shoving officers. Patton also continued to scream, wave her arms, and push multiple girls in her group. Officers deemed Patton would not stop her behavior, so she was taken into custody for disorderly conduct on July 5th.

Jared Kleinert passes out in Vanderbilt Medical Center restroom after taking unknown drug

38-year-old Jared Kleinert was seen unconscious and intoxicated at Vanderbilt Medical Center East on July 3rd. When officers arrived, they observed Kleinert unconscious on the restroom floor. When Kleinert gained consciousness, officers discovered a used syringe containing blood underneath his body. Kleinert was unable to stay awake and sit up properly on the toilet. Kleinert continuously leaned forward between his legs while on the floor so officers could not question him about the syringe. When Kleinert woke up, he was identified by his name and date of birth. Kleinert then admitted to officers that he took an unknown drug while using the bathroom. Kleinert stated that he was discharged from Vanderbilt Medical Center earlier in the morning. He added that he was attempting to go to Vanderbilt Medical Center East to pick up his prescription. Due to his condition, officers deemed he was a danger to himself, so he was taken into custody for public intoxication.

California Tourist Lee Rosas assaults multiple officers outside of Barstool Nashville

37-year-old California Tourist Lee Rosas was seen throwing his phone at a vehicle in the parking lot next to Barstool Nashville on July 4th. When officers made contact with Rosas, he hit Officer Jason Smith in the chest with a helmet. Once officers attempted to take Rosas into custody, he began to resist by ignoring orders and pulling away. Rosas scratched Officer Garcia on his hand while handcuffs were being put on him. During the officer’s interaction with Rosas, they reported that Rosas had a strong odor of alcohol and was visually impaired. Rosas was taken into custody and charged with two counts of assault on an officer and public intoxication on July 5th.

Sparkle Johnson slashes daughter’s boyfriend’s tires after being denied entry into her apartment

39-year-old Sparkle Johnson was caught after slashing her daughter’s boyfriend’s tires at their Knollcrest Apartment near Creekwood Drive on July 2nd. On June 7th, officers responded to a domestic disturbance. Zaria Johnson called the police regarding her mother, Sparkle Johnson, her aunt, Stephanie Jones, and her god sister, Alaka Young, trying to get into her apartment. When officers arrived, they noticed Zaria and her boyfriend, Ladonte Harney, standing beside his vehicle before they spoke with Zaria. Zaria informed officers that on the morning of June 6th, Stephanie, Sparkle, and Alaka attempted to enter her apartment and repeatedly knocked on the door. However, the trio got upset when Zaria refused to open the door, so they began spam-calling and texting Zaria and Ladonte. During the phone calls, the trio Threatened Zaria and Ladonte, telling them they were going to send people to beat them up and mentioning they were going to slice Ladonte’s tires to his vehicle. Zaria and Ladonte proceeded to block their phone numbers but continued to text and call from the generated numbers. One of the texts Zaria and Ladonte received was their social security numbers. Later that night, Ladonte noticed that his rear left side tire slashed, and two dents were in the driver-side door. Officers proceeded to help Zaria and Ladonte secure an order of protection for harassment, and they chose to prosecute them for vandalism. A warrant was issued, and Sparkle Johnson was taken into custody for vandalism on June 2nd.
