Scott Satterfield Jr. punches girlfriend in face during brawl outside Morgan Wallen’s This Bar

24-year-old Scott Aaron Satterfield Jr. fought with his girlfriend, Sara Mikayla Keith outside Morgan Wallen’s This Bar near Boot Barn on Broadway in the early hours of June 29th. A passerby observed this and alerted the authorities. When officers arrived, they spoke with several witnesses, who advised them of the altercation. Then, police reviewed footage of the scuffle, which showed Keith pushing Satterfield Jr. vigorously and, in return, he pushed her back then punched her in the face. A witness tried to break up the fight, but Satterfield tried fighting them instead. Officers noticed him engaging with the witness as they approached, so they went to detain Satterfield Jr. He then resisted until officers could arrest him. During their interaction, Satterfield Jr. reeked of alcohol and was visibly intoxicated. Officers then deemed Keith the primary aggressor. However, Satterfield Jr. was also taken into custody for disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.

DUI: Dominique Jackson found passed out in car, tells police Waffle House messed up his order

33-year-old Dominique Jackson was seen passed out behind the wheel at Waffle House on Murfreesboro Road on June 29th. Security informed officers that the driver and passenger of a vehicle were passed out in a car. Security claimed the pair had been there for almost two hours and attempted to wake them up but could not. Security also told officers that there was an open container of alcohol in the center console and that the driver appeared to be intoxicated. When officers arrived, they spoke with Jackson as he returned to the driver’s seat. When asked what was going on, Jackson told officers that Waffle House had messed up his order. When officers requested Jackson to perform sobriety tests, he agreed. However, Jackson showed numerous indicators of intoxication in two of the three tests. Officers also observed Jackson’s red, watery eyes before speaking with the passenger. When asked, the vehicle’s passenger informed officers that The Club Cocktail’s can was not hers. Jackson was deemed intoxicated and was then taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Rodney Alexander kicks door into roommate’s face during altercation

49-year-old Rodney Alexander was involved in a domestic altercation with his roommate, Johnqulia Amserson, at their Rivendell Court residence on June 29th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Amserson, who stated that when Alexander had left the residence the previous evening, he had either forgotten or lost his house keys. When Alexander returned to the house, he accused Amserson of locking him out and having other people in the residence. Amserson informed officers that as he was unlocking the door to let Alexander inside, Alexander kicked the door, causing it to hit him in the head, causing redness to his forehead. Amserson then proceeded to show officers camera footage showing Alexander talking on the phone while on the porch, cussing, and telling Amserson to let him inside. In the footage, officers heard the door begin to unlock when Alexander kicked the door and immediately heard Amserson groan in pain in the background. Officers then made contact with Alexander inside the residence. Alexander claimed that he had kicked the door open after Amserson had locked him out of the house and refused to let him inside. Alexander also denied injuring Amserson and claimed that he had injured himself. Due to the footage and statements made, Alexander was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Dillon Armstrong hits man’s vehicle with his skateboard after crash

On June 5th, 20-year-old Dillon Armstrong was involved in a car accident near 3rd Avenue South and Demonbreun Street. After the crash, Armstrong chased the other driver, Robert Kilbornev, during which he passed three marked police cars with their blue lights activated. Armstrong then used his skateboard to hit Kilbornev’s vehicle. Officers witnessed the incident via traffic cameras. Armstrong was then cited for the occurrence that day. Armstrong was later booked on the citation of vandalism on June 28th.

Wesley Dodd punches coworker at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk, tells him to “get out of his space”

30-year-old Wesley Blake Dodd had an altercation with his co-worker, Kai Dessalines, at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk around 7:07 p.m. on May 31st. Officers were investigating a separate incident when employees flagged them down to the establishment. When officers arrived, they spoke with Dessalines, who stated that Dodd had punched him in the face while they were in the kitchen. Dessalines added that as he ate his staff meal, Dodd told him to “get out of his space.” Dessalines stated Dodd then became verbally aggressive and struck him in the face several times. Dessalines said he wanted to press charges for the occurrence, and Dodd was cited. Dodd was later booked on the citation of assault on June 28th.

Jessie Matthews stops traffic while tweaking in street, tells police “How did you know I was high?”

21-year-old Jessie Matthews was observed walking on the center travel lane and impeding traffic on Dickerson Pike on June 28th. Matthews made sporadic and erratic movements, including running to the sidewalk, appearing as if he was going to enter traffic, and darting back to the center lane, causing traffic to stop. Officers noticed this and escorted him from the middle lane. Officers saw that Matthews’ pupils were pinpointed as he sweated profusely and fidgeted while scratching himself. When officers asked him why he was so amped up, he told them he had chugged about five Redbulls and saw a snake. Then, officers detained him, during which Matthews yelled, “How did you know I was high?” Matthews went on to clarify that he was only amped up due to the Redbulls, stating, “That’s not what heroin does.” During a subsequent search, officers found a lottery ticket containing a white paste in his pockets. The white paste was later identified as Heroin. Before stopping Matthews, officers confirmed that he was seen on camera stealing $25 worth of merchandise from the Dickerson Pike Family Dollar. Matthews was taken into custody for simple possession, public intoxication, and theft.

Henry Bright attempts to perform “wrestling takedown” on man sparking multi-person brawl

22-year-old Henry Bright was involved in a brawl in the 8th Avenue South and Lea Avenue area on June 30th. When officers arrived and separated the group, Bright continued to be aggressive while the other members of the fight calmed down. A member of the brawl, Brandon Jones, stated that Bright started the altercation by starting an argument with him and the other individuals while they were in the car with each other. Brandon told officers that he got out of the vehicle to speak with Bright, but while doing so, Bright attempted to perform a “wrestling takedown” on him. As officers were taking Bright into custody, they observed that he exuded a strong odor of alcohol. Once questioned about the odor, Bright confessed that he had been drinking throughout the night. After Bright was taken into custody, he admitted that he did utilize a wrestling move on Jones but stated that it was in self-defense. Jones said that he wished to prosecute, so Bright was transported to booking and charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and assault.

Daniel Feliciano attempts to enter security guard’s car in parking lot on Broadway

29-year-old Daniel Feliciano was seen attempting to enter a security guard’s car in the parking lot behind Barstool Nashville and Acme Feed & Seed at 1:05 a.m. on June 30th. When officers arrived, they observed Feliciano using a telephone pole to keep his balance. When asked if he could provide an address to be assisted off the street, Feliciano said he didn’t know where he was staying. He was then asked to call his friends to meet or help him with the address. Officers waited, but after multiple attempts, they took Feliciano into custody for public intoxication.

Little River Band Superfan Mark Owen banned from Symphony Center after causing disturbance

62-year-old Little River Band Superfan Mark Owen was seen causing a disturbance at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center at 9:20 p.m. on June 30th. When officers arrived, they learned that Owen was causing a disturbance because he couldn’t get a concert ticket to see the Little River Band. Owen complied after being asked to leave multiple times and was told not to come back; however, he returned shortly afterward. Employees flagged down officers for the incident, and Owen was taken into custody for criminal trespassing. Mark Owen is banned from Schermerhorn Symphony Center until April 2025.

DUI: Gillian Lado crashes her Volkswagen Jetta after having 1 vodka soda

24-year-old Gillian Lado was involved in a car accident at the intersection of Charlotte Avenue and 14th Avenue North at 11:42 p.m. on June 29th. When officers arrived, they approached Lado, who they reported smelt like alcohol and was visually impaired. Officers asked Lado how many drinks she had, and she replied that she only had one vodka soda. Lado agreed to perform sobriety tests, but while doing so, she showcased multiple indicators of intoxication. After being read her Miranda Rights and implied consent, she refused any chemical tests. Lado was then taken into custody for driving under the influence and implied consent violation on June 30th.
