23-year-old Eymiah Ford was involved in a domestic disturbance with her girlfriend, Laquisha King, at their 12th Avenue South residence at 6:07 a.m. on August 5th. When officers arrived and spoke to King, she told them that Ford punched a hole in the wall of their apartment. King told officers Ford did this after she told her that she wanted to break up.

King went on to say that Ford threatened her, stating, “You’re lucky I didn’t punch your face and put holes in it.” After contacting and Mirandizing Ford, she also admitted she told King, “The wall should have been your face.” Ford was then taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
