22-year-old Mar’Quon Lamar Givens was observed shoving an unknown individual at Barstool Nashville on August 11th. After officers noticed this, Givens and the other party ran in separate directions. The police checked the premises but could not find anybody involved. Officers then saw Givens run toward Broadway near Whiskey River before walking towards Bootleggers Inn. While there, Givens had a verbal altercation with another unknown party. Then, officers watched Givens and his party head to Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk. After this, officers spoke with a vendor near Barstool Nashville, who observed a black male with short dreads and a black shirt with what appeared to be a flame. At this time, the police were alerted about a fight happening at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk. When officers arrived, they located Givens and his friends but did not see them fighting.

Officers spoke with Givens, who said nothing was happening and everything was fine. Officers then noticed Givens had an injury to his finger. Givens further explained that he was in a “shoving match” with another unknown party, which caused the injury to his finger. He told officers he did not want to press charges and that he was looking for his friends so they could leave. Givens and his party then walked towards Moxy Hotel. A little while later, officers were alerted of another fight at the Moxy Hotel. When officers arrived, they saw Givens and his party engaging in fighting behavior, “squaring up” with other individuals. After Givens tried walking away again, he was detained for the occurrence. Givens was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.
