Firefighter Travis Keown assaults wife for walking too slow after Lainey Wilson concert, tells police “I would never hit my wife”

37-year-old Bowling Green Firefighter Travis Keown was involved in a domestic altercation with his wife, Shannon Keown, while at the Grand Ole Opry on Opryland Drive on August 14th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Shannon, who claimed she and Travis were leaving the Laney Wilson concert. As they left, they started walking back to their ride, but Travis became upset because she was walking slowly. Shannon informed officers that Travis then slapped her right arm, which caused an injury that officers observed. Officers then spoke with Travis, who told officers under Miranda that he did not slap her, as well as stated, “I would never hit my wife.” He also said that he did not recall what happened. Travis was then deemed the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for domestic assault on August 15th.

Lashae Lee deemed too drunk after altercation at Five Finger Death Punch concert

34-year-old Lashae Lee had an altercation with other patrons during a Five Finger Death Punch concert at Bridgestone Arena on August 14th. Responding officers detained Lee and spoke with her, during which they noticed she reeked of alcohol and showed signs of impairment. Then, officers attempted to help Lee off the premises. However, Lee told police she was trying to return to Morristown after the show. After the police realized they could not assist Lee in getting to East Tennessee, they deemed her too drunk to care for herself. Lee was then taken into custody for public intoxication on August 15th.

Porsha Huey booked after being drunk & disorderly at Dave and Buster’s

26-year-old Porsha Huey was seen publicly intoxicated and acting disorderly at Dave and Buster’s inside Opry Mills Mall on August 14th. While an officer was working an extra job at the location, Huey was identified to him as the person who was acting disorderly. Officers were then notified by a mall goer and security officer that Huey had assaulted them both. Security also stated that they asked Huey to leave, but she refused. Officers then made contact with Huey and observed many apparent indicators of intoxication. Officers deemed Huey to be a danger to herself, so she was then taken into custody for public intoxication on August 15th.

Metro Nashville Special Ed. Teacher Anna Santaniello steals $202 worth of merchandise from multiple Target stores

29-year-old Anna Santaniello, a Special Ed. teacher at Charlotte Park Elementary School in Nashville, TN, was seen shoplifting at the Target stores on White Bridge Pike and Charlotte Pike five times between January 3rd and February 21st. The stores provided law enforcement with surveillance footage of the incidents showing Santaniello not scanning items at self-checkout. On January 3rd, Santaniello was seen leaving without scanning $11.59 of merchandise. On January 7th, Santaniello left without paying for $20.99 of merchandise. On February 13th, Santaniello was seen leaving the store without paying $21.97 for merchandise. Finally, on February 21st, Santaniello failed to pay for $35 worth of merchandise. The thefts resulted in $139.55 of merchandise stolen from both Target stores. Officers identified Santaniello from the guest services reward number she entered at checkout. Her account belonged to her mother, so officers found her Facebook and driver’s license. Officers then used security footage and the newly discovered information to identify her for the crimes. Santaniello was taken into custody and charged with theft of property.

On August 14th, Officers were dispatched to the Target on White Bridge Pike for another shoplifting incident involving Santaniello. When officers arrived and spoke with a loss prevention employee, he informed them that Santaniello was caught stealing $63 worth of school supplies. The employee provided officers with a video of Santaniello attempting to leave the store with the items she didn’t pay for. After being Mirandized, Santaniello confessed that she intended to steal all the items, so she was taken into custody and charged with theft of property on August 14th.

Local Business Owner Steven Shevel jailed for involvement in hit-and-run on I-40 in 2022

53-year-old Steven Shevel, owner of Shevel’s Inside & Out Home Repair, was involved in a hit-and-run on I-40 on September 23rd, 2022. When officers arrived, they came into contact with the other involved driver, Ashley Page. Officers received Shevel’s vehicle registration and tags during their interaction with Page.

Later, on November 15th, 2022, officers met with Page to identify Shevel from a photo lineup. During the lineup, Page positively identified Shevel as the hit-and-run driver. Shevel was later taken into custody and charged with leaving the scene of an incident, failing to give information, and financial responsibility on August 14th.

Angel Niclisin crashes car on Hickory Hollow Parkway after fleeing traffic stop at high-speed

18-year-old Angel Niclisin was seen attempting to evade arrest after a traffic stop at a McDonald’s on Hickory Hollow Lane on August 13th. Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was suspected to be involved in a robbery that had occurred. As the car pulled into the McDonald’s parking lot on Hickory Hollow Lane, it drove away from officers at a high speed. Officers then pursued the vehicle until it crashed near Harbor Freight Tools on Hickory Hollow Parkway. Officers then removed Niclisin and two other individuals from the car before placing Niclisin into custody. Officers then searched the vehicle and located two empty bottles of liquor. Officers then noticed that one of the passengers was a juvenile and was out past curfew before asking Niclisin if he had a license. He informed officers that he did not. Niclisin was then transported and was later charged with no driver’s license, evading arrest, consumption of alcohol while underage, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor August 14th.

Darylregus Jenkins grabs minor aunt by the head & slams her onto ground during argument

18-year-old Darylregus Jenkins and his girlfriend had a domestic incident with his minor aunt, Kamiyah Scully, and his grandmother, Terry Jenkins, at their Old Matthews Road apartment on late August 8th. Officers were called to Skyline Hospital and spoke with Scully. She stated that she had an altercation with her nephew, Darylregus, and his girlfriend. Scully further explained that her mom, Terry, called her to tell Darylregus and his girlfriend to pick up their child. Scully stated that when Darylregus arrived, he immediately initiated a verbal argument, which escalated when his girlfriend started punching and scratching her.

Scully added that while his girlfriend attacked her, Darylregus grabbed the back of her head and slammed her onto the ground, causing her to lose consciousness. Officers observed the visible injuries Scully sustained, which were consistent with her statements. Then, the police spoke with Terry, who provided a similar story of events. Terry added that Darylregus threatened to slap her before he left, placing her in fear of bodily injury. Warrants were then issued for Darylregus’ arrest on August 9th. Darylregus Jenkins was taken into custody for aggravated assault and domestic assault on August 14th.

Khalil Steward body-slams ex-girlfriend multiple times during argument about window

31-year-old Khalil Camoru Steward had a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Selina Easley, at their Richards Road apartment on August 1st. The police report stated that Steward and Easley argued over whether a window should be opened or closed. During the argument, Steward stood up and slapped her in the face. Then, after Easley pushed him away, they started fighting. This led to Steward body-slamming Easley onto the floor, where he punched her twice near the left side of her head. After this, Easley got up, and Steward slammed her on the ground again. Easley remained on the floor until Steward walked away and retreated to the bathroom. Following the incident, Easley noticed she had a bite mark on her right shoulder that she said happened sometime during the scuffle. Officers observed the bitemark a day later when she reported it. A warrant was then obtained for Steward’s arrest.

Then, on August 14th, Easley called 911, stating that Steward was back at the apartment and an order of protection was in place. Officers confirmed with DCSO that Steward had been notified of the order on June 19th, prohibiting him from the location. Police also discovered Steward had three outstanding warrants and had been informed by Easley on August 13th that Steward was usually armed with a Glock handgun. Before officers arrived, they called Easley to see if Steward’s gun was still there. Easley told officers that Steward’s gun was on the windowsill. Then, officers arrived at the residence and knocked on the door, where they overheard Steward and Easley arguing. After this, Easley let officers in, and they located Steward in the kitchen and the handgun on the windowsill. Upon further investigation, officers learned the handgun was reported stolen out of Clarksville, Tennessee, by Ronald Pallman. Steward refused to speak to the police regarding the matter and was taken into custody for theft of a firearm, domestic assault, and three counts of violating an order of protection on August 14th.

Rudy Cooper passes out drunk at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk

53-year-old Ruby Abigail Cooper was found passed out in front of Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk on Broadway in the early hours of August 14th. Officers noticed this, woke her up, and discovered she reeked of alcohol, showing signs of impairment. As Officers tried to help Cooper stand, they attempted to figure out where Cooper was staying but were not successful. Cooper was deemed a danger to herself and was taken into study for public intoxication.

Jordan Montalvo jailed after siphoning $330 worth of gas at AM Express gas station

23-year-old Jordan Montalvo and Carlos Cardonell-Perez were observed in a parked van at the South Main Street AM Express gas station, which had been closed, shortly after midnight on August 14th. Sergeant Poole was patrolling when she noticed a hand reaching through the van floor and inserting a pipe into a gas port. After this, Poole approached and attempted to speak with the two individuals, later identified as Montalvo and Cardonell-Perez, to detain them. However, Cardonell-Perez exited the passenger seat and fled towards the Blush Nail Salon. Montalvo got out of the driver’s side and was placed into custody. Officers later located Cardonell-Perez and detained him as well. During a subsequent search, the police discovered a system of drums, pumps, and batteries in the van used to siphon gas. Then, an AM Express employee arrived, checked the gas system, and advised them that 92 gallons of gas, valued at $330.82, had been stolen. Montalvo was then transported to booking and charged with criminal trespass and theft.
