41-year-old Letitia Thomas was seen shoplifting at the Target on Charlotte Pike on July 26th. After being detained by the store’s security, arriving officers read Thomas her Miranda Rights. Once Thomas was Mirandized, she confessed that she attempted to leave the store without paying for anything.
The value of the merchandise Thomas had in her possession was $500. Officers cited her for the violation that day. Thomas was later booked on the citation of theft of merchandise on August 12th.
Letitia Michelle Thomas of Charles Drive in Madison, TN, was booked on a citation on August 12th, charged with theft.
