23-year-old Jordan Vicars had an altercation with Adam Bailey, a security guard, at Fox & Hound Bar & Grill on Rivergate Parkway in the early hours of August 18th.  When officers arrived, they observed Bailey aiming his taser at Vicars. Officers had previously contacted Bailey and knew he was working security at the location. When officers arrived, Bailey advised them that Vicars had punched him multiple times in the face.  After this, officers detained Vicars and investigated the alleged assault. They noticed Vicars was visibly intoxicated as he told them he wanted a lawyer and refused to make any statements.

Then, officers spoke with Bailey, who said he was leaving when he saw Vicars acting belligerently in the parking lot. Bailey added that he tried de-escalating the situation by telling him, “Be careful.” Then, Bailey reiterated that Vicars struck him several times and pulled his shirt over his head. The assault left contusions to Bailey’s face and nose that were consistent with his statements. After being deemed a danger to himself and others, Vicars was taken into custody for public intoxication and assault.
