Rontrell Day jailed on outstanding burglary warrant after slapping girlfriend at Vanderbilt Medical Clinic

21-year-old Rontrell Keshawn Day had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Christieon Gatlin, on the 2nd floor of The Vanderbilt Medical Clinic in the early hours of August 17th. VUPD officers responded to the scene and spoke with Gatlin, who stated that Day slapped her in the face during an argument and grabbed her right arm, leaving visible red marks.

Then, officers discovered that Day had an active warrant for aggravated burglary out of Robertson County. Day was then taken into custody for domestic assault and the outstanding warrant.

Rontrell Keshawn Day of Highway 70 South in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 17th, charged with domestic assault. He is free on a $2,000 bond.
