46-year-old Paul Diaz was caught stalking Desiree Rizor at her Knolls Apartment on August 17th. Rizor contacted officers about how Diaz had been calling her and showing up at her apartment despite her having an order of protection against him. After officers confirmed this, Rizor provided them with text messages and voicemails she received from Diaz after he was served.
One of the voicemails was Diaz calling Rizor to express how angry he was that she filed the order of protection against him. Rizor then told officers that Diaz had approached her apartment door, knocking and yelling on at least two separate occasions since the order was served. Diaz was taken into custody and charged with one count of stalking, harassment, and aggravated stalking.
Paul T. Diaz of Green Leaf Drive in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 17th, charged with aggravated stalking, harassment, and stalking. He is free on a $9,000 bond.
