38-year-old Bradford Parker was involved in a domestic altercation with his fiancé, Charlotte Bennis, while at their Shurgard Way residence on August 21st. When officers arrived, they made contact with Bennis, who appeared distraught and had red eyes from crying. She informed officers that she came home from work earlier to care for their dogs. Bennis explained that as she entered their home, Parker began taking pictures of her, saying, “I’m going to get you fired from your job.” Bennis informed Parker that she was allowed to take lunch breaks before giving the dogs a bath.
Parker entered the bathroom and told her, “I hate you so much.” After that, Parker aggressively pushed her on the head and told her to leave the apartment, saying she was not welcome. Bennis mentioned that one of the puppies peed on the floor when he did this. In response to this, Parker threw cold water on the puppy. Bennis then left the scene to call the police. Bennis added that Parker had changed the locks to the apartment and would not let her in. Due to the statements made, Parker was deemed the primary aggressor, and he was taken into custody for domestic assault.
Bradford C. Parker was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 21st, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
