Once Jackson returned, he discovered the bag containing his handgun, which he had left outside, was missing. Jackson later located the bag inside his car but found that his firearm was missing. Footage from Jackson’s Ring camera displayed Allen walking over to where the bag was and moving it out of the camera’s view. Officers viewed the footage and determined that Allen stole Jackson’s firearm. Allen was then taken into custody and charged with theft of a firearm on August 22nd.

Payton R. Allen of White Bridge Pike in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 22nd, charged with theft of firearm. He is free on a $5,000 bond.
