22-year-old Dominic Charles Cheek had an altercation with a security guard, David Christopher Robertson, in front of Redneck Riviera on August 23rd. Patrolling officers observed this and approached the scuffle. Cheek was detained, and officers spoke with Robertson, who stated that Cheek had attempted to enter the establishment. Robertson explained to officers that he refused Cheek entry due to his intoxication level.
Cheek tried to push his way into the bar during their interaction, leading to a fight between them. Robertson added that he wanted to press charges against Cheek for the occurrence. When officers spoke with Cheek, they noticed he reeked of alcohol and showed signs of intoxication. Officers then deemed Cheek a danger to himself. Cheek was taken into custody for criminal trespass, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and assault on August 24th.
Dominic Charles Cheek of Old Bedford Road in Goldens Bridge, NY, was booked into Metro Nashville Jail on August 24th, charged with public intoxication, criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, and assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $3,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
